About

Dr. Marni Reuling is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who has been in practice in New York since 2005. She graduated from Sarah Lawrence College and then from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology in a doctoral program in clinical psychology that is approved by the American Psychological Association.  She is an adjunct instructor at several universities and supervises graduate students in the field.

Dr. Reuling is passionate about the transformative power of therapy and helping clients build lasting coping skills. She has extensive experience working with mothers, adults, and adolescents across diverse settings, including schools, hospitals, foster care, adoption, specialized residential programs, and private practice. She has also developed specialized programs to treat individuals who have experienced significant trauma and has trained and supervised clinical professionals in these areas.

Individual Treatment

In her private practice, Dr. Reuling provides compassionate, individualized therapy for adolescents and adults, as well as family sessions when needed. She recognizes that challenges like adolescent behavioral struggles can impact not only school success but also the entire family and broader community. Dr. Reuling is deeply committed to helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, mood disorders, LGBTQIA+ concerns, intra-family conflicts, self-injurious behaviors, major life transitions, and trauma recovery. With specialized training and certifications, she offers trauma-informed care for survivors of  abuse and exploitation, creating a safe and supportive space for healing.


Maternal Mental Health, Parenting & Partnerships

Drawing from her personal experiences, Dr. Marni Reuling is deeply committed to supporting women and their families on their journey to parenthood. She holds a certification in Maternal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International and is additionally certified in treating Perinatal and Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMAD).

Dr. Reuling specializes in working with women and their partners before, during, and after pregnancy. Her practice addresses infertility, miscarriage, peripartum and postpartum anxiety and depression, and postpartum adjustment—challenges often accompanied by complex emotions, societal pressures, and misconceptions. She believes specialized mental health care helps women navigate the highs and lows of the reproductive journey, providing them with the support they need and deserve.


Women’s Mental Health including Perimenopause & Menopause

Dr. Reuling provides compassionate, specialized mental health support for women navigating perimenopause and menopause, a pivotal life stage that can bring unexpected emotional and physical changes. As hormone fluctuations and aging impact mood, sleep, anxiety, and self-perception, all while navigating the multifaceted challenges of aging.  Dr. Reuling understands how deeply these transitions can affect identity, relationships, and overall well-being, and she offers thoughtful, tailored care to help women regain emotional balance, confidence, and clarity. She ensures her clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their journey, helping them build resilience and self-compassion as they move through this important phase of life.
